What a strange post to make a sort of comeback. I have to write this before I actually forget!
While travelling from Kullu to Chandigarh in the Himsutta AC volvo, during the day, (10 45 AM start), I noticed, throughout the journey many people started to throw up.
The reason being it was hills hills and more hills. Turns climb then again turns and climb. What else you expect people to do, who just had completed their morning heavy breakfast and waiting to munch on lunch!
I'm not exaggerating but the people sitting towards the rear end of the bus were all kind of feeling sick. Your's truly, well, I did sit at the rear end of the bus, did have breakfast, but somehow managed to calm myself not to throw up.
how could I have observed this if I was sitting up front and would I be even writing this, if I was one of them, who threw up! (no points for guessing I did not throw up!)
Meaning I did not throw up. Once the bus crosses Swarghat (HP) and entered Punjab, there you go, you find flat roads and you are out of the hills!
Cheers,
PS - You can avail the hill sickness bag if you wish to throw up, and all the windows are sealed, so..
