This picture was taken in the University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad. One of a kind picture, taken during one of a kind day.
It was 10pm in the night. We were wandering around the UAS campus in search of this particular guest house for our dinner.
We walked and walked but could not find the guest house. Finally we entered a neighboring locality or a small village kind of thing next to UAS campus. Still we could not locate this particular guest house.
When we took another route, there was a power failure and the whole campus was in darkness. Somehow we found the guest house, and had dinner before it closed (ie before 10:30pm) and returned.
It was so nice to get lost. And remember no one was there on the roads, since it was too late in the night as well..
I shall remember this day for a long long time.
Cheers,
PS: I added this picture on my Gtalk profile pic. My friend asked is this a jail. Remember the profile pic is too small. Then I showed the full pic and thought of blogging about this particular pic and is relevant story.
Love Dharwad. Nice place to be.. :)
No TV shows to watch
I absolutely loved Bigg Boss season #3. Watching it was great fun. The superb part of it was, me supporting a housemate, who finally ended up winning [Vindu Dara Singh]. I mean, it feels so good. All your SMSes, have not gone waste.
Now that Bigg Boss season #3, is over, there is a huge void. I am not sure what to see on television. Everyday I used to come early to watch BiggBoss. Hardly 2-3 days, in the 3 months I have missed Bigg Boss.
I need to find some interesting shows on TV to keep me entertained. Loads of movie channels are available, but still none of them matches the entertainment provided by BiggBoss housemate Vindu.
Cheers,

My pre-employment medical checkup.
Somedays, we need to jump and do tasks which, we are really reluctant about. One such day was today and one such task was my pre-employment medical checkup.
I am at home since Friday, 25 Dec 2009, doing literally nothing. 4 days have gone by. But I had not yet decided when to go about my medical checkup.
My medical checkup could be done at any of the two locations.
Wokhardt Hospital - Bannerghatta Road.
Wokhardt Hospital - Cunningham Road.
As per my senses I chose Bannerghatta road hospital by default, since its close to my house.
I woke up today morning and went to Bannerghatta road hospital, just to find out that I needed an appointment for a checkup. The next available slot was only on Monday 4th Jan 2010. But I have to join on 4th Jan 2010.
The last time I remember, I had been to a medical checkup at Wokhard Hospital and there was no appointment needed. But here on Bannerghatta Road hospital, the case was different. I was surprised, I did not want to go empty handed and come out once again for the medical test.
Instead, I called up the Cunningham Road Hospital, and to my surprise, there was no appointment needed, I went there straight got everything done and came home by around 12 30.
Isn't it surprising. I hated to go even to Bannerghatta Road, I was so lazy to go out of home and so much un-interested in medical checkups, now I ended up not only travelling to both the hospitals, but also have a sense of relief that, the prominent task for the week is over.
Phew.
Cheers,
PS:: I did have the telephone number for fixing up an appointment, but as per my prior knowledge I thought I could sneak in without an appointment. :)-
