It was 15 Aug 2014, the day started at 4 am, I had not prepared anything in terms of packing, I had to put together my clothes and all necessary stuffs. I had to reach Ring road at 5 30 AM, but in the end it got delayed and reached only at 6 15 AM.
So after my pickup, we proceeded to Nelamangala, to head right out of town. Its over here, we stopped for necessary fuel at Shell Petrol pump.
The day's plan was to stop at Kyathasandra for breakfast, then directly at Davangere for lunch. After lunch, a visit to the Ustav rock garden at Shiggaon.
Along with us, one more person, drove a bike. He infact thought Kyathasandra was after Tumkur and as a result, directly went to Tumkur instead of stopping at Kyathasandra. As a result, we decided to stop at Sira Kamath hotel for breakfast.
Reached Sira at around 9 40 AM, then had a good breakfast and proceeded towards Chitradurga. After Chitradurga on the way to Davangere, we encountered a major hurdle, there was an accident which had occured and the highway was blocked.
This took some time to clear and we reached Davangere after this. Over here, one of our group member's friend was in Ranebennur, Timminakatti to be precise. His home was over here and it is he who invited the entire 11 members for lunch at his place.
Hence took a detour at Ranebennur and went towards Timminakatti. Had a great lunch. After which it was time to leave. Time was around 3 pm and next was Utsav Rock Garden, in Shiggaon.
