For days I have not opened my google reader. Infact when I joined my new workplace in June 2010, I asked my manager, can I use google reader at workplace. He immediately said "no". Then I asked, can I write one, so that I can subscribe to the feeds and moreover its my own written application, for which he said "no".
So I was left with no option but to save the blog url's as my favorites in the internet explorer and then try to revisit each and every blog looking out for new entries. Never mind, it happens once in a while.
Its almost 8- 9 months, I am not seriously following much blogs. time and again I end up reading travelogues, because I love to travel and its on my list for 2011.
But apart from them I dont know how, but somehow I stumbled upon this brilliant website called the dumblittleman.com, and from there on I am picking loads of inspirational blogs.
Yes, I never knew so many people exist whose entries could lift me up to this level that, I am even ready to take the risk to quit my job without having another job in hand.
Not sure, how this transformation happened overnight, but its true. In 2008 when the so called recession happened, I was scared what will happen if I end up losing job.
But now, I seriously feel like quitting without another job in hand. After all I may end up at home for 2 months or may be 6 months, its worth a try. I can travel a lot, play a lot of games, drive my car umpty number of times on highway, read lots of books, blogs do some certifications and eventually find another job.
I might lose out on money, but frankly speaking, what have I gained, following the pursuit of money. Nothing really.
So come June 2010, I will be a free bird out of bonded labor.
Ok, so my cribbing is done, let me share some of the inspirational stuffs which I have read over the last couple of weeks, which really helped me change myself and get ready to take risk.
I work to live, not live to work. So I gotta loads of other things apart from work.
Here goes few links,, will keep updating once I get more by the way.
Cheers,
