Not sure why weekend's have become so busy these days. For the past few weeks, not able to anything on the weekend, forget weekdays.
This weekend was one such, loads of people coming in on both the days. Meeting them, chatting with them, time is just flying away.
Sunday evening was a very busy one indeed. Loads of relatives. Engrossed in a discussion about friend's marriage, other functions etc etc.
Now back to work tomorrow again.

Bringing the blog visibility ... back to public
Its been almost a month since I made my blog private. The main reason behind it was, I did not want someone to read it. (let me be more specific about it.. its a female). Now that the other people who read my blog (mostly the gentlement) are rest assured that its not them, I would like to iterate that, I had expressed extreme anger in my posts for this particular person. Hence thought of avoiding the posts going public.
Since I had no options, I ended up making the blog itself private. Now that one month has gone by, I have suddenly realized, I have not blogged lately. I feel, I need to write more. Just for the few posts where in I express anger over this particular person, I ve nothing else to hide.
So moved those posts into a new blog altogether, so that I did not lose track of those posts. Now back to blogging where everything is public.

A reason not to post
For the past few days, I have not blogged anything. In the first four months of this year, I had lots to write about. Now all of a sudden I seem to have gone quiet.
Also, I have turned my blog private, with access only to a few people. Is that the reason not to blog. I feel its one of the reasons. The other reasons include,
> Lack of interest at workplace.
> My hatred towards travelling to ITPL.
> Not luck when it comes to finding new jobs.
So these are the reasons.
May 1st I am planning to go out of Bangalore, with my cousins. I feel the trip is confirmed. Waiting for May 1.

After so many days of speculation, went ahead with a music system and speakers. It left me poorer by Rs 12850.

Going into a looong weekend. :)
It is going to be a looong weekend. We have a holiday for Good Friday. Tomorrow I am taking off on the occasion of Brahmopadesham of my cousin.
So all in all a 4 day extended weekend. Hoping to turnaround few things.

Came home late... :(
Today our ITPL bus Route 1A, managed to kiss an Innova near Nirmala Stores, BSK Ist stage. The bus was stopped after few metres. The innova driver was quite co-operative, after all it was his mistake, he came too close to the bus.
At the end re-realized, driving huge vehicles comes with loads of responsibility. I was telling everyone, that I love to drive a Bolero, but frankly speaking, it comes with loads of responsibilities.
Will sure try to drive better in near future.

Met my cousin today, in one such conversations, he asked me whether I had an account on facebook. I have recieved facebook invites from loads of people, but never even thought about joining.
But today, I asked, him whats so good in Facebook. He said just join you shall come to know.

Tyre update
I had posted about my flat tyre two posts back. So thought of going to a tyre shop and all of a sudden yesterday, visited a tyre shop at Hosakerehalli. Asked about the damage and solution. Incidentally, the tyre had taken a hit while being run over a sharp stone / object and developed a tear.
Unfortunately, the tyre cannot be replaced, since it was not a manufacturing defect, is what, the guy at the shop told. So with no option, requested for a tyre repair. He told about some process or melting the tyre and fixing it, could not understand even an inch of what he said about the repair. The whole thing would cost about Rs 350 and so, just went for it.
I had one particular doubt, I have driven 1300 kms on my car, I did not expect a tear such early, for which he said, he had seen tyres which have taken a hit from a sharp object, on cars, which are not even registered. So I was indeed lucky.
Second thing I was lucky about was the puncture happening right in front of my house. Now I wonder, how would it be in the middle of nowhere, sweating it out, trying to replace a flat tyre. Yes, quite difficult.
Here's praying for no more flats.

Is watching IPL fun or boring ??
Was wondering about this question. IPL has moved back to India. Saw the scores of a couple of matches, being excess of 200. Just got a thought in my mind. The score of each match is becoming more and more predictable. Since there is no swing, seam nor spin, its a batters paradise. Adding to the misery, the dew factor pitches in.
Is it really worth watching or following it?

Lessons learnt on Ugadi...
Well, learnt two important lessons on Ugadi day.
First being how to replace a flat car tyre. Good learning.
Second one being an embarassing one. I went out in a car to a store, without carrying a mobile and ended up calling home from Re 1 coin booth.
Yes, I headed to a store in my car, as I had some work. In midway, not only I had to call the store owner, also my house. Without a mobile I did not have much choice, ended up calling from a coin booth. Felt a bit embarassing. But yes, such is life. Time and again you ought to remember where you are coming from.
Wrt to a flat tyre, I had a puncture just opposite to my house. I was lucky it happend in front of my house, since it was the first time. Sadly found out a crack on the side of the tyre. Not sure how it has happened. Hopefully I can replace it at the showroom with a new one for minimal cost, if its a manufacturing defect.
But also learnt how to replace a car tyre. Did it within 25 mins. A feat in itself, considering the fact that, I did it all alone reading from the manual and it being the very first time.
Now on I can do it even quicker. Hopefully no more flats, here's praying to GOD.

Me being a huge fan of Mark Knopfler, could not resist posting this video. Love this song.
New Seat covers @ Ceralli Automotive
Finally after few months, I thought about going in for a seat covers for my car. Choices were lot. I had heard about some cheap seat covers costing Rs 1500 and some good seat covers, at the showroom for Rs 5000. I even thought it would be the same else where.
So had noted down an advertisement in the newspaper about a shop which does seat covers.
When I went there, saw two types of seat covers. Pure leather, costing Rs 20K. And seat covers which are non leather, not sure about the material, will write about it soon. Pure leather costed Rs 20K and the other one Rs 8.5 K for my car.
And yes there were loads of customers. I had gone with 5K worth seat covers in my mind, now 8.5K was the minimum Somehow I did not think twice. I gave and advance of 1K and the color being beige and ash. I am bad at remembering suffs, Will surely edit this post once I recollect the color combination and the material.
Alongside seat covers also ordered for a arm rest worth 1.5K. Thought it would be helpful on highway drives. Frankly speaking, its worth for highway driving only. City driving needs so much of gear change, there is no scope for resting your left arm on that.
[ Moreover, my gearshift is not that buttery that I can move around with a finger. I need to use a lil bit force (lil bit mind u ). at least to shift to first and second gears, rest gears I can manage with palm with minimal force. ]
The good part is that its attached to the passenger seat, and is foldable. And yes, it adds very much comfort to the passenger in the front.
So overall a pretty nice experience.

The shop is located at BSK II nd stage, near Upahara Sagar.

How important is it to read instruction manual ?
Frankly speaking, I am a kind of lazy person. In real life I come across many devices and stuffs many of which have instruction manuals. So just wanted to write about Instruction manuals of those devices. Unfortunately I do not read instruction manuals. Even if I read, I do not remember most of the instructions on how to operate and blah blah blah.
Unfortunately not reading instruction manual is a big big drawback. Reading and forgetting is like a sin. I have installed Central locking / Keyless entry onto my car. The key chain has 3 buttons. Two of which are to arm / lock and disarm / unlock.
When you either try to arm or disarm there is a siren which beeps twice before the door gets armed / disarmed. Since few days, I found out that, there was no siren, but the door was getting armed / disarmed properly. Even the buzzar while taking reverse was not effective.
I thought and thought and decided that I shall visit the showroom today and check if there is a fault. Minutes before leaving for the showroom, I had to gather the warrantly form for the central locking thing. It came alongside the instruction manual.
To my surprise there were lots of permutations and combinations with 3 buttons as such.
And when I went through the instruction set, I found

Drove my heart out, on a highway.. What a way to welcome weekend. :)
As per my yesterday plans, I was supposed to drive out on Mysore Road, today. Yes I indeed drove for about 135 kms to be precise. The whole yesterday night, I spent GTA 4, I slept late at around 12 30 am, aware of the fact that I was supposed to leave home by 5 am for the drive.
Sadly, I could wake up only at 5 45 am. So left home at around 6 10 am. As I approached Mysore Road, got an idea of a different route. Thought about driving to DoddaAladaMara, The Great Banyan Tree.
So looked around for Amrut Distilleries and Rarajeshwari Dental College, took a right turn and proceeded towards Ramagondanahalli. I thought of returning back once I reach The Great Banyan Tree. But somehow keep on driving and reached Magadi instead.
The road was good one, lots of curves, overtaking was a bit pain, as well as giving way to others. But quite a nice scenary all around the road. So finally reached a fork where there a sign saying Kunigal 22 kms left, Dabaspet 34 kms right.
Thought and thought and finally decided to go for Dabaspet, since Kunigal way too far. So took the road to Dabaspet and in between took a right turn to Nelamangala.
Unfortunately there were no sign boards, and finding exact route was difficult. Finally managed to reach the National Highway and took a right turn which leaded me to the NICE road. And from there it took less time to reach home.
So this was my driving session for this week, thoroughly enjoyed driving but the heat was a bit of concern.

PS:: Infact, there was nothing to cheer, as I came home, Since the ECS amount clearance on behalf of the car loan for month of Feb 2010, had not happend, HDFC guys had called up saying they will come home in order to collect cheque or DD for that. What crap, None of my fault , ECS problem whose fault, Grrrrr?
Got lots of scoldings from my parents for choosing HDFC bank for loan and clearing the loan from SBI bank.

Not sure, how I came up with the title. But frankly speaking I love Mysore Road. Its simply superb. I have been living in this part of the town since almost 10 years. But its only since 2006 that I fell in love with Mysore Road. I just love to go out on a drive along Mysore road, quite frequently.
There were plenty of such occasions when I have been to places close to Mysore and stuffs, with cousins on a rented vehicle. But these days, I am more obsessed with myself driving along Mysore Road.
I love to drive every weekend along Mysore Road, I feel its the perfect way to unwind after a week's work. The smell of diesel on an early morning coupled with cool breeze plus the superb road. Its just irresistible.
Simply feels superb to hit the highway. So if any of you guys find me along Mysore Road, from Kengeri to Maddur, feel free, lets catch up over a cup of highway coffee.

Eventful day today :)
Today was an eventful day. Spoke to loads of people over the telephone. Overall I am happy, today being Friday and there are absolutely no worries. 2 days of time I get all for myself. Yes, its worth the 5 days of work, is all I can say.
Infact had charged up my mobile battery, but still was about to run out of charge.
There were some good news at the end of the day given by my friends. That even cheered me up.
