Not sure how to convince myself. I always end up crying over spilled milk. Its one of the hardest things, I am yet to come over. Every now and then, I take one step ahead and start wondering whether, was this step required or not.
If you are wondering what I am talking about, I am talking about my new organization and some stuffs involved with it.
I joined a new organization. I had 2 offers on hand and decided to go with one of them. Now after travelling to ITPL for a week, I am wondering if I had selected the other offer, its workplace which was relatively closer than ITPL.
This is not the first time, I have ended up in this situation. The last time I joined Honeywell, I too had an alternate offer, and somewhere I ended up cribbing too.
But how long will I regret my decisions. I have full faith in God that he has guided me to the right direction. But having said that, why do I end up crying over spilled milk?
I really do not know. And yes the grass looks very green on the other side..
Esp when there is no travel to ITPL involved. :)
One of the so called ordinary week.
Its been a very quite week. I have joined a new organization on the 4th of January. Ideally speaking, I should be a very happy guy. A hike in the salary, a new workplace, lots of people to meet.
But it isn't. The travel to ITPL is pathetic. I thought it would be bad, but its worse than the worst.
Somehow I feel I have not made a wise decision.
I am praying to God to make me accustomed to this new organization and ITPL travel, else .. you it better :)
Cheers,

What am I blogging about ???
Its been almost 3 years since I started blogging. All the posts in this blog are about myself. Its been three years and still I am not tired. Sometimes I wonder, why do I post about myself. Why can't I give out some gyaan.
But the honest truth is I have never intended to share / give out any gyaan to others. May be I am not good enough for sharing gyaan or may be I dont have gyaan, you can take that for an excuse, I dont mind.
But I really did not know as to why I was blogging about my day to day topics. I surely did not have an answer for almost 3 years. But yesterday, I got to see one of the tweets of SRK.
After reading that I sure have a reason as to why I blog about my day to day routine.
Though I am not a celeb as SRK, but sure the tweet sounded apt for me..
SRK ::: " but my friend ______ insisted that i should learn to share my life. "
So I feel proud about my blog posts and I am happy that I finally found a strong backing reason to keep me blogging.
Cheers,

Pleasant surprise
I joined a new organization on 4th of January 2010. Everything was new over there. The induction did not happen. This was my fourth organization and everything over here felt weird.
In all of my previous organizations, I would be introduced to my team mates, guided to lunch, some topics of discussion would be there. But here it was different. I was in a meeting room going through some documents and was all for myself yesterday.
I indeed wrote some tweets about my frustration yesterday. But today there was a pleasant surprise in store. There is another new joinee along with me, whom I met while leaving the office yesterday evening. Infact I could not get much info about him.
But today was a different case. I found out that the other new joinee was a localite and we both started speaking in Kannada. It was one of those pleasant days after an ordinary day.
Everything I did today found a special meaning in itself. I did not get frustrated as much as I did yesterday.
Hoping for a still better day tomorrow.

New year, new organization, new tensions :)-
Its a brand new year. One of the most prominent things was my decision to join a new organization altogether.
It would never have been possible for me to make a move without the help of loads of people who are playing their part.
Would love to thank God, all my teachers for the knowledge they have blessed me with.
I would like to thank a lot of seniors in my current and previous organization, who have also helped with loads of queries on technical related stuffs.
Without your help, I would never have been able to clear any interviews.

Ride of the year
There were loads of good times, which I had during this year. Went out of Bangalore on 3 different occasions,
> Kodai,
> Dharawad,
> Hyderabad.
Though I enjoyed most of my outings, I still have one instance which will remain fresh in my mind. The ride which I went for at Ramoji Film City was the best. :) It was a ride of a lifetime.

Picture for the year and the story behind it...
This picture was taken in the University of Agricultural Sciences Dharwad. One of a kind picture, taken during one of a kind day.
It was 10pm in the night. We were wandering around the UAS campus in search of this particular guest house for our dinner.
We walked and walked but could not find the guest house. Finally we entered a neighboring locality or a small village kind of thing next to UAS campus. Still we could not locate this particular guest house.
When we took another route, there was a power failure and the whole campus was in darkness. Somehow we found the guest house, and had dinner before it closed (ie before 10:30pm) and returned.
It was so nice to get lost. And remember no one was there on the roads, since it was too late in the night as well..
I shall remember this day for a long long time.
Cheers,
PS: I added this picture on my Gtalk profile pic. My friend asked is this a jail. Remember the profile pic is too small. Then I showed the full pic and thought of blogging about this particular pic and is relevant story.
Love Dharwad. Nice place to be.. :)

No TV shows to watch
I absolutely loved Bigg Boss season #3. Watching it was great fun. The superb part of it was, me supporting a housemate, who finally ended up winning [Vindu Dara Singh]. I mean, it feels so good. All your SMSes, have not gone waste.
Now that Bigg Boss season #3, is over, there is a huge void. I am not sure what to see on television. Everyday I used to come early to watch BiggBoss. Hardly 2-3 days, in the 3 months I have missed Bigg Boss.
I need to find some interesting shows on TV to keep me entertained. Loads of movie channels are available, but still none of them matches the entertainment provided by BiggBoss housemate Vindu.

My pre-employment medical checkup.
Somedays, we need to jump and do tasks which, we are really reluctant about. One such day was today and one such task was my pre-employment medical checkup.
I am at home since Friday, 25 Dec 2009, doing literally nothing. 4 days have gone by. But I had not yet decided when to go about my medical checkup.
My medical checkup could be done at any of the two locations.
Wokhardt Hospital - Bannerghatta Road.
Wokhardt Hospital - Cunningham Road.
As per my senses I chose Bannerghatta road hospital by default, since its close to my house.
I woke up today morning and went to Bannerghatta road hospital, just to find out that I needed an appointment for a checkup. The next available slot was only on Monday 4th Jan 2010. But I have to join on 4th Jan 2010.
The last time I remember, I had been to a medical checkup at Wokhard Hospital and there was no appointment needed. But here on Bannerghatta Road hospital, the case was different. I was surprised, I did not want to go empty handed and come out once again for the medical test.
Instead, I called up the Cunningham Road Hospital, and to my surprise, there was no appointment needed, I went there straight got everything done and came home by around 12 30.
Isn't it surprising. I hated to go even to Bannerghatta Road, I was so lazy to go out of home and so much un-interested in medical checkups, now I ended up not only travelling to both the hospitals, but also have a sense of relief that, the prominent task for the week is over.
Phew.
Cheers,
PS:: I did have the telephone number for fixing up an appointment, but as per my prior knowledge I thought I could sneak in without an appointment. :)-

New theme.
Finally as the year ends, I thought of bringing in a new theme. Searched and searched, finally found a user friendly theme and uploaded it.
Still I am not happy with the archive part of it. Its not elaborate.

Bigg Boss Season 3, winner is Vindu Dara Singh
Wow. What a finish to Bigg Boss Season 3. It was one of the most awesome Bigg Boss Seasons. I have supported Vindu Dara Singh right from the beginning. Somehow, I felt amongst all housemates Vindu was the best.
And yes, today was the finale. Guess who won the Bigg Boss Season 3 crown, none other than Vindu Dara Singh. I am so happy, the good has prevailed.
Vindu Dara Singh was an exceptionally good person. Each member of my family was supporting him only.
Today he has won the BB3, and I cannot tell you guys, how much happy I am.
My 84 days of watching Bigg Boss has finally had a sweet result.

Big boss season #3, Finale
Tomorrow is the Bigg Boss Season 3 Finale. It has been a wonderful 3 months watching Big Boss. Many people told me, I am a fool watching Big boss. I wonder what made them say that. Though I did not watch the very first episode of Big Boss, I have been watching it regularly since then.
My favorite house mate of Big Boss season #3, is none other than Vindu Dara Singh. I have enjoyed his stay at the BB house. I have even sent SMS supporting him.
Now that the season is coming to an end, I wish to see him as the winner.

Thank you all.
I would like to thank all the people who have helped me during my stay at Honeywell. I sure not gonna take their names here. All my current team mates, current manager, have been very kind towards me.
I would like to thank my former team members, many of whom are on orkut. I would like to thank my ex-team lead/manager, in particular, for providing a laptop to work and flexi work timings. If without a laptop it would have been very difficult.
So thank you all guys..

Happy with myself
This week starting from 21 Dec 2009, to 24 Dec 2009, was one of the scariest weeks. It was kind of a tight situation for me.
In other words it was a hard working week for me. I was about to quit my organization on 24 Dec 2009. I had to complete loads of things.
The last Sunday when I wrote the post, it surely was heartfelt.
I am thankful to God for helping me to carry myself with grace and humility during the past week, without whom I would have landed in a tight situation. I wish he gives me still more strength. So now with a majority of work done, I am nothing but happy with myself.
So now its not only a new year 2010 for me, loads of things are new as well.
Cheers.

Goodbye HTS
Yesterday was my last working day of the year 2009. It also happens to be my last working day @ Honeywell. I had joined Honeywell on 5 March 2008, so it ended on 24 Dec 2009.
Initially during my notice period found it very easy to go about things. But yesterday one of my friend's asked me a question, how can you quit after working together for 2 years. I mean, it was a very difficult question to answer. Infact I had no answer.
I have left behind all those friends whom I have worked with over the last 1 year 10 months or so. I wish them all the very best for their future career.
Though its going to be my fourth company in less than 5 yrs. I still am not feeling that happy.
Somehow I have realized that this job and stuffs are just a part and parcel of our lives. The core thing is how much we enjoy ourselves in it.
I feel we need to enjoy ourselves while at work and we need to do what we love. There is no point being someone else.
PS:: Coming to the point of doing what you love, I always have loved to drive heavy vehicles, like loaded trucks etc though I have not got a chance. Does it mean that I have to become a professional driver?
Difficult question, but I have a simple answer, I love coding, debugging and learning new Microsoft Technologies, so I am enjoying my job as programmer as well.
Cheers & Merry Xmas.

Life's like that..
This is supposed to be my last working day for the year 2009. I am at home for the whole of next week, starting from 24 Dec 2009, to 3 Jan 2010. Though I have a taken a long week off, I do not have any plans for a trip. I had planned to buy a PC for the last week of December and start gaming. But that idea did not work out.
Now I am sitting in the library of my office and blogging. This week is a memorable week for me. It signifies not only my last working day, of 2009, but also the last working day at my present organization.
I only pray that I get relieved today so that I can join an altogether new organization for the year 2010.
Cheers,
PS:: If I had not resigned from my current organization I would have started planning for loads of things. Now I have no plans waiting for the year to get over.

Hardworking Sunday...
Its been a truly hardworking Sunday for me. Apart from doing office work I have done loads of additional work. I mean, what I am saying is heart felt, I ve worked very hard to complete some tasks.
This week is a memorable week for me. The tide is either going to swing in my way or I am going to end up as a loser. Only time will tell.
I am seriously tensed as the Monday is approaching. I shall blog about in detail about what I am talking sometime later.
As of now, I have loads of concerns for the coming week.
I pray to God to give me more strength. Please God help me carry myself with more humility.
Cheers.
