The Diary of a young girl - by Anne Frank, is the book which I am currently reading. I have just started reading it and completed about 15% of the book. I thought of writing a post after I have completely read it. But I could not resist writing about it. So here it is.
According to me, the book is a masterpiece, the narration of Anne Frank is so beautifully crafted, its not to be missed.
I remember having an excerpt from the Diary of Anne Frank, as a chapter, in English, not sure when, must be 6+ years ago. But at that time, I absolutely disliked the chapter. I was also wondering, how could I ever complete the entire book, if someone gave it to me. This was me as a teenager. (Errrrr ~~~~~)
Quite unusual is it? The book is written by a teenager herself, but disliked by a teenager like me. I dont have an answer as to why?? I disliked it. May be my english was very poor, or may be I was a mugpot. I have no clues.
(Being a mugpot has its own advantages, but I feel it has more disadvantages, especially when it comes to Literature, Here's a LIVE Example !!!!)
But once again a BIG THANKS TO STRAND BOOK STALL, they have given me another chance to read the entire book. This time I am not only having a great time reading it, but also enjoying it to the CORE, its absolutely beautiful, can't imagine how the time is flying by as I am reading. Its a classic in itself.

Its been almost 2.5 years since I graduated. I do love reading books. Since my childhood days I used to read quite a bit of books(Not a voracious reader though). I started out with Famous Five. As a member of "Friends Circulating Library" in Subramanyanagar, I used to read a lot of Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew. But since I relocated to Bangalore South in 1999, it had been hard for me to find a library over here.
Also I was doing my engineering, so it was kind of hard for me to read anything non technical and I accept I was a bit lazy too.
But its since 2006, I am back reading some good titles, all thanks to Strand Book Stall and Strand Book Festival. Its among these wonderful books, I found a great companion.
Above all I also came across a book by Robin Sharma, which has tremendously inspired me. I have reclaimed some of my lost confidence, because of the writing of Robin Sharma. I wish there are more such Strand Book Festivals in the coming years, hopefully I get to read more.

Boy o Boy, its been 3 months, since I have not read anything so called " NON TECHNICAL ". I have always loved to read. Sometimes complacency creeps in, I tend to keep away from books. Here's a list of books which I have right now, wish to complete asap.

Surprise, Suprise, this December
Surprise, Surprise, is the mantra for me. Finally I am back doing something which I love the most !!!! Its something which I started in 2002, but for over an year, I was away from it.
Yes, yes, its right. I am back to this place, a place which keeps me interested much more than technology. Its true, I made a comeback at the gym this December.. I have started working out.
I go to the gym every morning from 5am to 6:15 am. And no doubts, I love it.
I pray to God to give me more strength to carry on gymming for a loooong time. I wish, I never ever drop out of gym in the future. Pls God Pls gimme tremendous strength, courage and above all quality time to work out.

I'm going home
Here comes Monday, the day of reckoning, Nov 11 , 2007. After nearly 11 months at a different workplace, I finally head home, the only thing i can recall is Daughtry singing Home.
Moving to a new workplace, has lots of advantages for me, it reduces travelling time, hopefully a pickup and drop close to my house, and loads of time for myself, to study , workout, read great books etc etc. Yeah, I ve waited for this day, since eleven months. Finally its here, Yippy.

Ahhh !!! Finally made some time to write. I had decided not to post any entries till I move to SJPR. SJPR stands for my new workplace location. My 6th workplace in 2.5 years
But somehow felt like writing after listening to the new song by the Eagles - " How Long ". Such an awesome song.
There has been loads of progress on my side when it comes to technology, but on a personal side, i am quite upset. There has been lots of debate on my attitude, my so called ego, which has taken center stage, atleast with one of my friend.
Anyways, I always have a Robin Sharma book which keeps me going in all such situations. After reading Robin Sharma's book for the fourth time in a row, I ve finally managed to get hold of " FountainHead ". I wish I wrap it up soon, so that I could go ahead reading the autobiography of Steve Waugh,

Almost forgot blogger
Boy O Boy,, Not a post since a month, how rude?? .. Well frankly speaking no other option, August , September 2007, i am totally busy with work, no time to blog, and above all majority of sites being restricted at workplace.
Finally i am finding some rhythm, coming up with a post after looong time. These days I am enjoying my work like never before. Coding has never seemed so interesting.

Hey there,, Loooong time since I put up a post. I ve been totally busy all through August. A brand new workplace, Loads of work, Awesome Technology, Lots of production code, above all lot of satisfaction. This is August 2007 for me. Indeed a memorable one.

A day to remember - Team outing, 27 July 2007
As I approach the weekend, I find myself amid one of those memorable events, which I would like to remember always. Its outing time for our team. Though I was not interested in the very beginning to be a part of it, but at the end I am eating my own words. Yes, I would have made a big big mistake, if I had missed it.
We started at 7:45 am in the morning, from our office and headed to a resort 40 kms away from Bangalore. After an hour and half drive we reached the resort. The Mount View Resort is on the way to Nandi Hills. Though the resort was comparitively small than what I expected, it provided fun, entertainment, which was indeed unparallel.
We finished our breakfast and at around 9:45 am we headed straight to the cricket pitch. The cricket ground was a small one, where the best of the best bastmen found it difficult to score runs, courtesy the rules which were laid down. I was a part of the team which got eliminated in the very first match.
Thought I dint play much , I did find much interest in something else other than playing cricket. It was commentatiing. Through commentary I was able to crack some of the wild jokes. I assume both the players and the spectators had an awesome time, watching cricket and can I say listening to my commentary? well you have to comment on it.
After cricket it was lunch time. After lunch we proceeded to have a Shuttle Badminton tournament for the ladies. We ended it by the prize distribution ceremony. We left the resort at around 4:45 pm. It was a fun filled day, loads of things did happen. I wish to upload some of the snaps, sometime from now.
Its over and out from my side. I sure will post something this weekend.
