GoodBye (current org) ... Hello.. .(next org)

Yesterday was my last day at my current organization. The day went pretty ordinary. Nothing really exciting.. But I was more than happy to tell myself, that I will no longer be travelling the roads to ITPL.

The day started with me wishing few people good bye.. Then after which I needed few documents to be completed, since the concerned person was on leave. It was none of my job, it all happens.

At the end of the day, I can say, I am smoothly relieved. I got the resignation acceptance letter. Will get relieving and experience letter in a few days.

So since my task is done, I would like to thank few of my friends namely...
Naveen, Sharath and Satish...

We have had some great discussions over great food at Kadamba (ITPL) on Friday's in particular.
Apart from that, we had loads of things to discuss at workplace.

I wish all these guys a very best for their future, and yes, here I am trying to get ready for the next organization,

Cheers,
Sandeep

Short Story #2 :)-

Short Story:

Scene ::

Guy #1 : While travelling to ITPL in the so called cage (ITPL shuttle), in the morning, one guy was proudly boasting, " My new car touched 120 kmph easily on Hosur Road ".

Guy #2 & Guy #3 : " how can you drive your 1 week old car at that speed ? "

Guy #2 : Since the engine bore is new, it should be driven carefully at max speed of 80 - 90kmph.. for atleast a month..

Guy #1 :: Oh Thanks for the information.. I will take care hence forth.

Actors in the story::

Guy #1 :: Manager in a reputed IT Company. Has been driving cars for over 5 years. This new car being his second acquisition.

Guy #2 :: Looks like a mechanical engg by profession ::

Guy #3 :: By stander or a regular interupter in others' conversation. (and that too with a loud voice).

Things which surprised me::

On an average, Even an SSLC drop out owning a moped knows, not to drive the new vehicle at higher speeds, since there is a run-in period.

Why the fuck, the Guy #1, a manager in a reputed IT company with years of driving experience behind him, and with the power of internet (blackberry) behind him, not know about this. I mean how can he forget about the run-in period, that too being his second car ?

Neva mind, nothing drastically happend. But yes.. sometimes, makes me wonder, what do managers actually manage ???

Sandeep

Short Story #1 :)-

Short Story:

Scene :: While returing home from ITPL, in my so called cage (ITPL shuttle), I sat in front of a lady. The lady was accompanied by a guy (might be her friend) who also sat in the same seat.. I thought this guy was trying to impress her.. Never mind..My bad..

Result  :: I ended up listening to whatever the lady spoke for a period of 1 hr 45 mins.. (I mean she spoke continously all through the journey with or without a lil break )... , and that too, 95% was all .... whatever...

Inference :: What a pathetic way to welcome, a well deserved weekend..

Question to be asked :: Why did that lady (or ladies) speak so much ??

To whomsoever it may concern :: Avoid sitting in front of ladies.. as long as the lady is unknown to you.. esp when you are travelling for such a long time..

Tips :: Try playing music a bit loud to distract her, or just get lost from your seat to somewhere else ... ( I should have tried this )

Jeee..

Favorite Places within ITPL...

Post will be updated shortly.. A reminder as of now :)

One last time from Reliance Connect @ ITPL :)

Its my last day, @ ITPL, at my current organization. Not sure how the relieving process is. Having loads of doubts whether I will get relieved today or not. But I am positive.

So as of now, I am posting this entry for one last time from Reliance Connect Cyber Center in the Creator building of ITPL. This cyber center has been helpful for many guys including me, who have no access to personal mails at office. I would like to thank my friend for his Reliance Connect ID  " bornfrick ", the account which I did get recharged for a mere Rs 20 for half an hour. I would like to thank my friend who had enough patience to register himself as a user at the cyber center.

So here I am sending my last day mail from my personal ID to official ID so that I can send the same in the afternoon to my friends.

Thats it from me as of now. Will update the blog either tonight or tomorrow afternoon, hopefully I will get relieved by that time.

Jeee. Thanks Reliance Connect.

Cheers,
Sandeep

One of my favorite Bollywood superstar

Long time, since I have written about a movie I watched or something related to Bollywood. Incidentally I happend to watch Feroz Khan's Jaanbaaz on Friday Morning. Yes, I bunked office, even during my notice period. Can't help.

I have grown up seeing Feroz Khan's movies. ( I can remember watching Qurbani n number of times and Dharmatma. Apart from this I had seen Jaanbaaz, but only once.)

So watched the movie again. Yes, awesome movie, somehow I fall in love with movies of Dev Anand, Feroz Khan and few others. Will watch the movie again, if it comes up in future.

But here's a big salute going to the great man, for his unique style of film making and acting.

Hats off.

PS::: Love the song Har Kisi Ko Nahi Milta.... Listening to it over and over again :)

Nightmare of a weekend

It was one such weekends, where in loads of events were happening, but at the same time, instead of me being overjoyed, I was kind of dull..

There were loads of things happening around me.
1. Visit to Lord Venkateshwara and Godess Padmavathi temple in Tirupati.
2. Kranti's marriage over the weekend @ Tirumala.
3. Abhijit's engagement.

Infact, I would have cherished this weekend for years to come if not for one gloomy incident involving, AIR INDIA aeroplane. Its something which really shook me. Somethings are beyond our control. But still I am very very upset.

Here's praying to GOD to give more strength to all those people who are in need of it.

Need to feed my reader with URL's

Its going to be one huge task for the coming days. Over a period of 5 months I have accumalated loads of blogs, many of whom I keep visiting atleast once a week. Now my aim is to put all of them in google reader.

Last time, I had a huge collection of blogs which I pumped into SharpReader and exported as .OPML file. But unfortunately, in my previous organization, they banned all freewares and had to uninstall SharpReader.

After which I have never been able to import my .opml file into google reader. Main reason being laziness. So this time, I am planning to store a whole bunch of blog urls into sharpreader (google reader) so that, the next time, I keep track of them and also can access them elsewhere.

Its strange, what people end up counting

Yes, its true, people end up counting whatever they can. They count hen, chicken, pigs whatever..
One fellow in my shuttle has counted how many road humps are there from Uttarahalli to ITPL.
Kudos to this gentleman. Nice feat.

According to his calculation there are 44 road humps from Uttarahalli to ITPL.

Jeee, thanks.

Bus puncture

It was second time in two weeks that, the ITPB bus in which I was travelling had a flat tyre. I mean, my travel in the evening takes 2 hours of time, amidst all this there is this flat. Infact it happened right in front of Brook Fields, Kundalahalli.

I have loads of memories with respect to Kundalahalli. Incidentally, the first company which I ever worked for was Sobha Renaissance IT, was few feet away from where this flat happened.

So remembered those good olden days, the period from July 2005, to Sep 2006, the people with whom I worked with etc etc. SRIT has given me loads, I will run short of words infact to tell how much I am indebted to this particular organization.

Anyways.. sometimes having a flat tyre is not so bad.

Yet another busy weekend.

Not sure why weekend's have become so busy these days. For the past few weeks, not able to anything on the weekend, forget weekdays.

This weekend was one such, loads of people coming in on both the days. Meeting them, chatting with them, time is just flying away.

Sunday evening was a very busy one indeed. Loads of relatives. Engrossed in a discussion about friend's marriage, other functions etc etc.

Now back to work tomorrow again.

Manic monday.

Few more good shots :P

Bringing the blog visibility ... back to public

Its been almost a month since I made my blog private. The main reason behind it was, I did not want someone to read it. (let me be more specific about it.. its a female). Now that the other people who read my blog (mostly the gentlement) are rest assured that its not them, I would like to iterate that, I had expressed extreme anger in my posts for this particular person. Hence thought of avoiding the posts going public.

Since I had no options, I ended up making the blog itself private. Now that one month has gone by, I have suddenly realized, I have not blogged lately. I feel, I need to write more. Just for the few posts where in I express anger over this particular person, I ve nothing else to hide.

So moved those posts into a new blog altogether, so that I did not lose track of those posts. Now back to blogging where everything is public.

Loads to write about, my recent trip to Yercaud Hogenekal.

Sandeep
